The hotel was fairly clean with really friendly and affable staff, it was a brilliant base for short stay. Appreciated large & well-appointed room. The accommodation had a very central location close to everything. Actually everything was perfect, my next choice again in Heidelberg.

Fairly clean hotel in a nice building just off tourist attractions, helpful staffs and big restroom as well as the historical centre of Heidelberg. Super friendly and really friendly staff with a good portion of humor. Marvellous location away from the town square, and 10 minute walk from a red sandstone castle. Fairly nice experience, brilliant base for short stay.

Everything about this traditional hotel was perfect. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room - bright and well-appointed. Everyone was affable and amicable. The venue was in a very central location right by Christmas market and downtown.

Cheerful and fairly clean traditional hotel. Fine and great breakfast for the start of the day with probably purchased at the bakery nearby, crispy croissants and cheesecake. Had marvellous location very close to everything, right next to Market Square. Also - just off the market square overlooking the Christmas Market, the beautiful church and square and the centre of Heidelberg.

Everything was simply perfect. The hotel was little, location was favourable near the square, excellent breakfast. Thanks to exceptionally nice and superfriendly staff the atmosphere was cozy. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room itself was huge. We had lovely bedrooms.

Huge and spotless room and fairly clean bathroom with a shower, hair dryers and towels. Excellent, fine breakfast with probably purchased at the bakery nearby, the bakery nearby plus fragrant.

No complaints, I couldn't recommend more, loved it. The hotel was a nice comfy base for enjoying a super convenient area, close to other attractions, and the night life.

Excellent location, steps away from Town Hall. Based not far from the historical center of the town and the main square of the Altstadt and the castle, the river, shops and cafes/restaurants.

My stay at Am Rathaus was absolutely delightful. The location couldn't have been better, right at the corner of the Markt Square. I could easily walk to all the main attractions and soak in the charming atmosphere of the Old Town. The room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful stained glass windows that let in the sunlight. Although there was no elevator, the staff kindly assisted me with my luggage. The breakfast was a treat, with a variety of tasty options. The employees went above and beyond to make sure my requests were met. I highly recommend this hotel for its prime location, comfortable facilities, and excellent service.

There were central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a mini-fridge-bar in my guest room. The location was absolutely perfect, close to Town Hall🙂👌

Comfy rooms, arrived late when checking in, very helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Staff didn't understand English very well, and did not clarify when they did not understand, so there was large miscommunication.

Exquisite location at the old city center of Heidelberg very close to the castle and walking distance to virtually all old-city locations.
